Paige Boshell is a partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and a member of the Intellectual Property and Banking and Financial Services Practice Groups. She is Team Leader for the firm's Cybersecurity and Privacy Team. She regularly advises financial institutions regarding the delivery of products and services through traditional channels and via the Internet and mobile devices, and federal and state regulatory issues, and has broad experience negotiating outsourcing contracts and software licenses for various clients. She also advises clients on information security protection, breach response, and risk management.
Paige regularly drafts and negotiates third party agreements regarding joint ventures, marketing arrangements, hosted services, cloud computing, and other vendor or outsourcing arrangements, software licensing, and confidentiality covenants.
She advises financial and non-financial clients regarding the delivery of products and services via the Internet, including Web site content, flow and architecture, and linking issues. Paige drafts numerous Web site terms and conditions, privacy policies, Internet banking disclosures and agreements, and employer Internet usage and e-mail monitoring policies, and related employee disclosures.
Paige regularly counsels financial institutions regarding regulatory compliance issues, and drafts a wide variety of bank policies and procedures, such as CIP, privacy, FCRA, FDCPA, information security and codes of ethics, and retail agreements and disclosures, including signature cards, deposit agreements, payable-on-death designations, TISA disclosures, credit card applications and agreements, home equity loan applications and agreements, check overdraft protection agreements, TILA disclosures, business credit applications and agreements, privacy policies and notices, FCRA notices, treasury management agreements, Check 21 agreements, central vault and night depository agreements, automated clearing house agreements, wire transfer agreements, EFT disclosures, and Internet and mobile banking applications and agreements.
