Bob Wood is primarily involved in commercial real estate acquisition, development and financing transactions. He has been with Bradley since 1983. He is a former member of the firm's Board and has served as the firm's managing director and as the managing partner of the Nashville office. Bob's real estate practice involves the representation of institutional lenders, real estate developers and investors in real estate finance, acquisition and development transactions. His transactional experience includes representation of commercial mortgage lenders and commercial and residential developers in connection with acquisition, entitlement and development of mixed use and multifamily projects; creating a variety of structures for ownership and operation of both commercial and residential projects, including horizontal property regimes, condominiums, owners associations and other ancillary governing documentation. Bob represents a number of title insurance companies and is involved in commercial lease negotiations, representing both landlords and tenants. He is a member of the American Land Title Association, a member of the Tennessee Land Title Association, and a Fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.

Bob is an active member of the community, serving a variety of organizations. He formerly served as an elder of the Harpeth Hills Church in Brentwood, Tennessee, and he has earned certification as a Spiritual Director through Lipscomb University’s Institute for Christian Spirituality. Bob is the chair of the Executive Committee of the Nashville Business Breakfast, a group comprised of representatives of Lipscomb University and the Nashville Business Journal, formed to produce quarterly breakfast programs for the Nashville business community. In 2019, Bob completed a 12-year term on the Lipscomb University Board of Trustees and served as chair of the board’s standing committee for Lipscomb Academy. He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors for Rocketown, Inc., a nonprofit organization, and as general counsel and a member of the board of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
