The lawyers in our Antitrust and Competition Practice Group counsel clients to comply with national antitrust laws and devise creative solutions to competition issues arising from business operations. Our attorneys routinely represent clients in traditional antitrust activities at the local and national levels, in front of U.S. federal agencies regarding Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigations. We serve as local counsel for clients requiring knowledgeable lawyers with in-depth experience before the relevant federal district courts, particularly in the Southeast region.
Bradley lawyers also represent clients with regard to anticompetitive practices, investigations, and merger investigations for public and privately held companies. This extends to trade associations in a range of industries that are subject to scrutiny by the DOJ or FTC. In the face of highly active enforcement activities by the FTC’s healthcare group, we strive to offer our clients transparency and predictability in how we handle healthcare-related filings, transactions, and investigations. We also handle pre-merger filings and provide essential counsel in response to subpoenas and civil investigator demands.
Our comprehensive service draws upon the talents of our seasoned antitrust litigators, who represent clients in matters involving false advertising claims, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, tortious interference with business and contractual relationships, and breach of fiduciary duties. We also have a substantial record of helping clients avoid indictment in criminal antitrust matters.
Bradley attorneys possess extensive intellectual property experience in addressing antitrust issues, trade secrets, and patent litigations. We protect clients’ rights to enforce patents and navigate the limitations that are inherent to these rights, whether in response to the 2011 America Invents Act or the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
