The National Business Institute is hosting this half-day seminar preparing you to successfully function in the new electronic world of the courtroom on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 from 8:45 am through 12:00 pm or from 1:00 pm through 4:15 pm at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel. This seminar will also feature John W. Lamb as a speaker. Here is a summary of what will be covered:

  • Know which documents can and can't be submitted electronically.
  • See for yourself how electronic filing works and get a demonstration of e-filing software.
  • Make sure your documents were received and understand who should get what and when.
  • Store information correctly by recognizing which formats work best for certain documents.
  • Safeguard your electronic files with out savvy strategies.
  • Determine when to keep your document work in-house and when you should outsource.

This course has been approved by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 3.0 Continuing Education Credits.  Attendance at the entire seminar is required in order to receive credit.
