Jonathan Head to participate in the DRI webcast, "The Changing Landscape of Discovery in the Electronic Age: How FRE 502 Affects Your Practice".

In September 2008, Federal Rule of Evidence 502 was amended to address concerns about the disclosure of information protected by the attorney-client privilege or work product doctrine, including inadvertent disclosures. This webcast will discuss how Rule 502 has changed the landscape of discovery strategy, document review, and document disclosures, with a focus on the production of documents in the electronic age. The speakers will also discuss how courts have addressed the new rule, how those cases impact your practice, and how to advise your clients. This webcast will be of interest to anyone involved in litigation.

Who Should Attend
  • All litigators—Rule 502 will affect your practice at some point if you ever review a document for privilege or work product protection
  • Litigators who want to learn about how courts have addressed FRE 502 since its amendment
  • In-house counsel who need to develop policies for dealing with document production and electronic information
