Bruce P. Ely, partner in the Birmingham office, will be a moderator for the CLE Teleconference & Live Audio Webcast of "Series LLCs. No, it’s Not a New TV Series", sponsored by the Amercian Bar Association, Taxation Section.
About the Program
The business world is beginning to use series limited liability companies more and more and it is time for SALT lawyers to jump into the game. This panel, all authors of articles about various tax and non-tax aspects of series LLCs, will discuss the nature of series LLCs, how and why businesses use them, and the federal and SALT aspects of operating these new business creatures. As series LLCs become more prevalent in the business world, it is incumbent that SALT lawyers understand the business and tax aspects of using series LLCs.
