Scott Smith Chairs DRI National Class Action Seminar

DRI—The Voice of the Defense Bar has appointed Scott Burnett Smith to chair its national class action seminar. (Scott also chairs the DRI’s Appellate Advocacy Committee and its Amicus Committee.) The current U.S. Supreme Court term promises to be a blockbuster for class action law. The DRI has scheduled its class action seminar in Washington in July to bring together class action lawyers from around the country to discuss these and other cutting edge class action issues. The seminars faculty consists of the experienced class action lawyers, in-house lawyers, and appellate judges, including Seventh Circuit Judge Diane Wood and Fifth Circuit Judge Leslie Southwick.
