This year’s conference will provide academics, investors, and government representatives a better understanding of the link between fundamental research and commercial applications to produce biofuel and bio-products.
The conference will cover all aspects of biofuels generation, from biomass feedstocks cultivation to biofuels production and distribution. Topic areas of focus will include, biofuels and bio-products manufacturing, chain supply economics, and environmental and energy sustainability.
Speakers will present biofuel research and commercialization efforts being conducted in the United States, Mexico, and Europe and will include representatives from General Atomics, KiOR, USDA, DoD, and several universities.
The meeting will provide networking opportunities for students interested in venturing into the biofuels and “green energy” arena with potential employers in academia, government, and industry.
Tours of the new Sustainable Energy Research Center pilot-scale biofuel production and test facility will be available.
