Scott Burnett Smith Speaks on "Appellate Issues in Class Action Law" at DRI's 16th Annual Meeting

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings partner and current chair of the DRI’s Appellate Law Committee, Scott Burnett Smith, will present “Appellate Issues in Class Action Law” at this year’s DRI Annual Meeting. Smith will discuss the impact that the Supreme Court’s recent class action decisions will have on class action practice in both federal and state courts, as well as other hot topics affecting class action appeals. The DRI’s 16th Annual Meeting will feature keynote speaker President Bill Clinton presenting “Embracing Our Common Humanity” while U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and award winning author Bryan A. Garner will present “Making Your Case—The Art of Persuading Judges.” The Meeting will take place on October 26-30, 2011 in Washington, D.C.
