2012 Federal Tax Clinic

Robert Walthall and Bruce Ely, both partners in the Birmingham office, will be presenting at the 66th Annual Federal Tax Clinic. Robert will be presenting on Thursday, November 15, 2012 on the topic of "Recent Developments in Alabama State/Local Tax Law."  Bruce will be presenting on Friday, November 16, 2012 on the topic of “Recently Enacted Tax Legislation and Prognostications for Next Spring.”

The Alabama Federal Tax Clinic Inc., the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama State Bar, and The University of Alabama sponsor the Annual Federal Tax Clinic. Founded in 1947, The Alabama Federal Tax Clinic has provided quality educational service to Certified Public Accountants and Tax Attorneys in the Southeast. Each year the program is designed by the Board of Directors of the Federal Tax Clinic Inc. The Board itself is comprised of members appointed by the Alabama State Bar, the Alabama Society of CPAs, and The University of Alabama. Using their expertise and feedback from Clinic participants, the Board has developed and maintained a quality clinic for more than 65 years. This year the Clinic will be held on Thursday, November 15th and Friday, November 16th, at the Bryant Conference Center on the campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
