Summary
Join the litigation team of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP for a one-hour presentation entitled: “Recent Developments In Alternate Dispute Resolution – A Perspective for Corporate Counsel” and which will focus on ways in-house counsel can help ensure success in mediations and in arbitration proceedings. In this program, the faculty will present a detailed report on the state of alternate dispute resolution in the United States. As more and more cases end up being resolved by arbitration and mediation, it is increasingly important that in-house counsel have a comprehensive understanding of the issues and ways to leverage ADR to assist the business. Topics of discussion will include effective mediation tactics, requirements for compelling arbitration, validity of agreements, whether an arbitral dispute exists, and a thorough overview of the case law involved. This course has been approved by the North Carolina State Bar for one hour of CLE credit.
