In addition to serving on the planning committee, Jennifer was a speaker at the Cumberland School of Law’s 20th Annual Employment Law Update. She spoke about the Eleventh Circuit’s significant employment-related rulings from 2013, including decisions addressing the President’s powers under the Recess Appointments Clause, the propriety of requiring current employees to undergo psychiatric evaluation as a condition of continued employment, the application of the FLSA to undocumented aliens, the award of liquidated damaged in an FLSA retaliation claim, and the enforceability of out-of-court settlement of FLSA back wages claims.
