Summary

Braldey Attorneys will share the latest developments under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) affecting employers. Our speakers will provide a brief overview of the Act and its requirements, as well as tips for ongoing compliance with the Act. As the Department of Labor has recently started including ACA items in audits, Bradlely Attorneys will outline the compliance issues that need to be addressed with employers plans. The discussion will include information about the Marketplace (aka Exchange) as it relates to employers. Our speakers will review the “play-or-pay” penalties and the transition guidance for 2015.

The session will be presented in four parts:
    - Background on ACA and the Implications for Employers
    - Ongoing Compliance with Employer Requirements under ACA
    - An Introduction to the New Marketplace and Related Employer Issues
    - Addressing the "Play-or-Pay" Penalties
