At the HIMSS15 Annual Conference, Amy Leopard was part of a panel of healthcare IT industry leaders, entitled “Data Security Hot Topics: Identifying the Enemies within the Gates - Do You Know Who's In Your System?” The panel session identified and discussed the hot topics in data security, including offshoring, mobile health apps, consumer-supplied data, and cloud, as well as enforcement trends (including FTC) and highlighted practical and scalable compliance tools to assess and address those risks.
