State and Local Tax attorneys Bruce P. Ely, Christopher Grissom, and James E. Long will be presenting “Special Report – Latest Developments in Alabama” at the upcoming April 2015 COST Southeast Regional State Tax Seminar.

Each year, our SALT Practice Group teams up with the Council On State Taxation (COST) to present the Southeast Regional State Tax Update. This year Deloitte Tax, LLP will be co-hosting the update, which will be held in downtown Birmingham at the Regions Bank auditorium on Tuesday morning, April 28, 2015. Members of the Bradley's SALT Practice Group speaking this year include Bruce Ely, Brett Carter, Chris Grissom, and Jimmy Long.

This year’s hot topics include: A Survey of Recent Developments in the Southeastern States; Pending and Recently-Decided State Tax Cases, Issues and Policy Matters to Watch, Including Pending Federal Tax Legislation Affecting the States; Special Report: Latest Development s in Alabama; Helping Companies Proactively Manage Their State Tax Controversies and Preparing for MTC and Transfer Pricing Audits; and the Great Debate Between COST President Doug Lindholm and Professor David Brunori of George Washington University and Deputy Publisher of State Tax Notes. Finally, top officials from the Alabama Department of Revenue will brief the audience on recent administrative developments and pending tax legislation in the Alabama Legislature.
