“Board Governance & Volunteers” and “Advocacy & Lobbying”

Wendy Mullins taught two sessions of the Excellence in Action certification program offered by the Mississippi Center for Nonprofits and hosted by Millsaps College in connection with its Else School of Management and the ELSEWorks Entrepreneurship Program. Mullins discussed two topics of note, “Board Governance & Volunteers,” as well as “Advocacy & Lobbying.” Excellence in Action is Mississippi’s only certification program for nonprofit competencies. It encourages nonprofit teams to learn more effective management strategies and best practices.
