Cost Recovery Issues After a Termination for Convenience

This presentation will discuss cost recovery for government contractors that are terminated for convenience. This session will include an overview of the applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines, including FAR Part 49 and FAR 31.205.42. It will also discuss some cost issues that are unique to terminations and the process of preparing and auditing termination settlement proposals. Finally, it will discuss the process of negotiating and settling these proposals.
