Preparing Common Business Contracts

Spoke at a CLE sponsored by the National Business Institute to lawyers working in both private practice and in-house settings. The presentation provided a high-level overview of particular issues to be addressed when drafting contracts commonly encountered in business transactions. Examples included settlement and release agreements, business separation agreements, joint venture agreements, leases and employment agreements, as well as the often used side letter in smaller business arrangements.
