The Disputes Investor Cometh: Global Rise of Third-Party Disputes Finance in Litigation and International Arbitration

Birmingham partner Tripp Haston will address the International Association of Defense Counsel at its Annual Meeting in Lisbon, Portugal. Haston’s address is entitled The Disputes Investor Cometh: Global Rise of Third-Party Disputes Finance in Litigation and International Arbitration. The address will focus on the global creep of third-party litigation investment, government oversight of the practice and disclosure requirements in various countries. His fellow panelists include leading international arbitration counsel from Brazil, China and Portugal. The IADC is an invitation-only organization of attorneys from more than fifty countries around the globe. Mr. Haston is a Past President of the IADC and currently serves as its Asian Membership Envoy.
