Bradley partner Tripp Haston will address the Eleventh Annual International Corporate Counsel College in Zurich, Switzerland on Thursday, October 24, 2019. This year’s ICCC will be hosted by Swiss Re at its Centre for Global Dialogue. The ICCC is sponsored by the International Association of Defense Counsel (“IADC”). Mr. Haston, a past president of the IADC, will chair a panel who will address current issues and challenges with global compliance programs. His co-panelists include BASF SE’s General Counsel, Siemens AG’s Senior Legal Counsel, Consolio’s Director of Investigations & Compliance and a leading outside counsel and fellow IADC member from Nairobi, Kenya.
The panel will address the challenges and current issues facing multinational organizations when setting global compliance programs. Topics will include: (1) Attorney client privilege during compliance investigations; (2) Special considerations for compliance in Eastern Africa; (3) Compliance communication and training in the digital age; and (4) New legislation in Europe impacting compliance programs.
