Healthcare Reimbursement and Licensure Basics

This presentation will provide an introductory outline of key considerations for an attorney working on health care licensure and reimbursement issues in the context of transactions, establishment of a new facility, and day-to-day operations. Emphasis will be placed on the structure and workings of federal payers (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) and Tennessee health care licensing laws, including certificate of need.
