Black Box Blues – The Legal and Ethical Implications of Black Box ML and AI Algorithms

This talk will explore a vexing emerging problem created by the increased used of so-called "black box" artificial intelligence or machine language algorithms. As black box algorithms become more commonplace, legal and ethical implications abound. This talk will present background and framework for understanding the black box problem followed by possible solutions.
