Kevin Newsom To Speak at U.S. Supreme Court Preview in Williamsburg, Virginia

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings partner Kevin Newsom, who chairs the firm’s appellate practice group, will present this weekend (October 2-3, 2009) at William & Mary Law School’s annual Supreme Court Preview in Williamsburg, Virginia. Kevin will argue a moot court of Graham v. Florida (to a panel of “judges” including the Supreme Court correspondents for the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, and Slate) and will also participate on a panel titled “Race and the Roberts Court.” Other conference participants include Retired Justice Sandra Day O’Connor; former U.S. Solicitors General Walter Dellinger, Paul Clement, and Greg Garre; Sixth Circuit Judge Jeffrey Sutton; and Supreme Court practitioners Carter Phillips, Miguel Estrada, Beth Brinkmann, Tom Goldstein, and Pam Karlan.
