The Tennessee Lobbyist Association (TLA) has named Bradley Arant Boult Cummings attorney Nathan H. Ridley as its Chair for 2009. In this role, Nathan will work closely with the 15 member Board and its Executive Committee and its Staff to oversee operations of the Association this year. The TLA is a group of more than 240 registered lobbyists. The TLA advocate for fair and equitable laws and regulations in order to protect our clients’ rights to petition their elected officials. The association's membership is diverse and reflects a wide array of private and public interests. The TLA conducts an annual retreat for its members to gain the latest information on legislative issues; sponsors a series of breakfast meetings during the legislative session featuring public officials; and supports two scholarship programs for legislative interns through the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
