Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP attorney Wendy R. Mullins has been named to the board of directors for the Communications and Information Technology Organization of Mississippi (CIT.ms).
CIT.ms is an association of IT organizations and their leaders. Its member companies range from information technology development start-ups to IT organizations that support billion dollar companies and the hardware, software and service providers that support them.
“We are pleased that Wendy, like so many of Mississippi’s information technology leaders, has embraced CIT and volunteered her time to assist in the ongoing development of this organization,” said Scott Hamilton, executive director of CIT.ms. “I’m sure her energy and ideas will help us to continue to support the fast-growing information technology jobs market in Mississippi.”
“I am looking forward to working closely with CIT.ms as a member of the board,” said Mullins. “This organization is playing a crucial role in securing Mississippi’s place as a technology center in the Southeast, and I am honored to have been asked to help support its mission.”
Mullins is a member of the Corporate and Securities practice at Bradley Arant and splits her work between transactional matters and general corporate advice. She regularly advises technology companies on issues related to M&A, asset sales, assignments and/or leasing of real and personal property, corporate organization and governance, contract preparation and review, and intellectual property protection. Prior to Bradley Arant, Mullins served as in-house counsel to wireless communications company SkyTel. She holds a J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
