Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Welcomes 16 First-Year Associates

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to welcome 16 first-year associates to the firm. They join the Birmingham, Nashville, Huntsville and Charlotte offices.

Joining the firm in Birmingham:
James B. Bailey will serve as a member of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Distressed Investing Practice Group. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bailey worked for Congressman John L. Mica in Washington, D.C. He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. (cum laude) from the University of Florida.

Lindsey C. Boney, IV joins the firm as a member of the Litigation Practice Group and the Life Sciences Industry Team. He served as a clerk for the Honorable William H. Pryor of the 11th Circuit. Mr. Boney holds a J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Alabama School of Law and a B.A. from Auburn University.

H. Chandler Combest will serve as a member of the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group. He holds a J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Alabama School of Law and a B.A. (summa cum laude) from Auburn University.

Summer Austin Davis joins the firm’s Litigation Practice Group after clerking for the Honorable Karon Bowdre of the Northern District of Alabama. Her practice will focus primarily on product liability and other complex litigation. Ms. Davis holds a J.D. (cum laude) from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a B.S. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Virginia Thomas McKibbens will serve as a member of the Tax Practice Group. She holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. (summa cum laude) from the University of Alabama.

Anna Belle Wilder Norton will serve as a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Litigation practices. She served as a clerk for Chief Judge Joel F. Dubina on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Norton holds a J.D. (summa cum laude) from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a B.A. (magna cum laude) from Birmingham-Southern College.

Vesselin Petrov is a member of the Construction and Procurement Practice Group. He received his
J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and holds a B.S. in Materials Engineering from the University of Arizona.

Christina Lorino Schutt joins the Environmental and Toxic Tort Practice Group. She holds a J.D. (summa cum laude) from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a B.A. (summa cum laude) from Auburn University.

Michael A. Thomason, Jr. will serve as a member of the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. He holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and graduated Order of the Coif. He also holds a B.S. (summa cum laude) from Auburn University.

Lindsay Singletary Whitworth will serve as a member of the Real Estate Practice Group. She holds a J.D. (magna cum laude) from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a B.A. (summa cum laude) from Auburn University.

W. Thomas Worthy joins the firm’s General Litigation Practice Group. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Worthy served on the senior staff of the late Congressman Charlie Norwood. He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from Washington & Lee University.

James W. Wright, Jr. will serve as a member of the General Litigation Practice Group. He holds a J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Alabama School of Law and an A.B. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Joining the firm in Nashville:
Molly D. Loughney joins the firm’s Environmental and Toxic Tort Practice Group as well as the Land Use Practice Group. She will work with clients on a wide range of matters, including due diligence, transactions involving natural resources, brownfield redevelopment, zoning, and municipal law. She holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.S. (magna cum laude) from Georgetown University.

Frankie N. Spero will serve as a member of the Litigation Practice Group. He holds a J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and a B.S. (magna cum laude) from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Joining the firm in Huntsville:
David W. Holt will serve as a member of the Litigation Practice Group. He holds a J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Alabama School of Law, and an M.S. and B.Ch.E (summa cum laude) from the University of Alabama.

Joining the firm in Charlotte:
F. James Warmoth joins the firm’s Construction and Procurement Practice Group, representing contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners in disputes, drafting and negotiating contracts, and other related matters. An engineer prior to entering law school, Mr. Warmouth holds a J.D. (Order of the Coif) from Wake Forest University School of Law, a M.S.C.E. from Virginia Tech and a B.S.C.E. from The Citadel.
