Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Partner David Mixon Publishes Chapter in Book on Recent Developments in Patent Law
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP partner David E. Mixon has contributed a chapter for the 2011 edition of Developing a Patent Strategy: Leading Lawyers on Cooperating with the USPTO, Complying with New Standards and Understanding Emerging Technologies. Published by Aspatore Press, a division of Thomson Reuters, the book is part of the legal publisher’s Inside the Minds series. Mixon’s chapter is entitled “Developing Effective IP Strategies for Today’s Clients.”
Mixon is a registered patent attorney with a background in electrical and computer engineering. His clients include Fortune 500 companies as well as medium-sized businesses and startup ventures. Mixon represents clients from a wide range of industries, including information technology, computer hardware, satellite communications, health sciences, microelectronics, environmental technology, telecommunications and automotive manufacturing. He has extensive experience with preparing and prosecuting patent applications on the cutting edge of such fields as computer software, computer hardware, electronics, control systems, manufacturing processes and mechanical devices. Mixon holds a J.D. from South Texas College of Law and a B.E. from Vanderbilt University.
