Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Awards Diversity Scholarship to Vanderbilt Law Student TaCara Harris
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce it has awarded one of its 2011 diversity scholarships to TaCara D. Harris, a first-year student at Vanderbilt University Law School. Ms. Harris will receive a $5,000 scholarship and a clerkship with the firm this coming summer.
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings launched an expanded diversity scholarship program in 2011 as part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to diversity in the legal profession.
“We look forward to welcoming TaCara to the firm for her clerkship this summer,” said Firm Chairman Beau Grenier. “In this time of transition for the legal profession, we feel it is more important than ever to ensure the broadest possible pool of talented young attorneys are able to finish their studies and begin their careers. We view diversity as a firm wide priority, and expanding the scholarship program is just one of our initiatives.”
Ms. Harris is a member of the class of 2013 at Vanderbilt University Law School. She is a Lloyd M. Johnson Scholar, a Chancellor’s Scholar, and a first-year representative for the Vanderbilt Black Law Students Association. Ms. Harris holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) from Vanderbilt University.
