Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Partner Tom Trent Named to Board of Directors of Transit Alliance of Middle Tennessee
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP partner Tom Trent was one of five Middle Tennesseans named to the Board of Directors of the Transit Alliance of Middle Tennessee, a non-profit organization created and supported by citizens, businesses, and civic organizations across the Middle Tennessee region. Ed Cole, Executive Director of the Transit Alliance, said the new board members are recognized leaders in their civic and professional realms and will add to the knowledge and effectiveness of the initiative to find a regional approach to mass transit.
The Transit Alliance serves the public by supporting the work of the Mayor’s Caucus; promoting discussion and understanding of the growing need for expanded transportation options; and leading the efforts to pull the businesses in the region together. Nashville now has one of the longest average working commutes in the country, making the Transit Alliance key to the economic growth and development, as well as the environmental well-being, of Middle Tennessee.
