Intellectual Property and Emerging Business Attorney J. Mark Bledsoe Joins Bradley Arant Boult Cummings in Nashville

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that J. Mark Bledsoe, a leading intellectual property and corporate law attorney, has joined the firm’s Nashville office as a partner. Bledsoe previously was a shareholder at Lanier Ford Shaver & Payne P.C. in Huntsville, Ala. Bledsoe is the fourth prominent lateral partner to join the firm since December of last year.

Bledsoe focuses his practice on all aspects of IP law and advising emerging businesses. He assists clients with the formation and operation of limited liability companies, partnerships, joint ventures and corporations, and advises companies about sales contracts; license, publishing and employment agreements; and other sophisticated tax-advantaged business arrangements. Bledsoe’s work has involved the technologies of wireless sensor networks, biomedical instruments and implants, dietary formulations, and cell culture systems, among others. He holds a J.D. and an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law and a B.S. in biomedical engineering from Mississippi State University. He also has completed master’s level course work in analytical chemistry.
