Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Partner Matthew Lembke Installed as Chair of American Bar Association Council of Appellate Lawyers
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew H. Lembke, a partner in the firm’s Birmingham office, has been installed as Chair of the American Bar Association’s Council of Appellate Lawyers, the only national appellate bench-bar organization. Lembke was elected to serve the 2011-12 term.
The Council’s mission is to foster a dialogue among federal and state appellate lawyers and judges that will improve appellate advocacy and strengthen ties among the numerous appellate bar organizations.
“We applaud Matt’s initiative and drive to take on leadership roles both in his professional industry endeavors, as well as his case work on behalf of our clients,” said firm Chairman Beau Grenier. “We congratulate Matt on this appointment and all of his ongoing successes.”
Lembke has 18 years of experience representing clients at the trial and appellate levels. In recent years, his work has focused on cases involving interstate water rights, environmental contamination and complex commercial and securities litigation. Lembke is one of four Bradley Arant Boult Cummings lawyers to have clerked for the U.S. Supreme Court.
