BABC Partner and Chair of the firm’s State and Local Tax (SALT) Practice Team, Bruce Ely, was recently quoted in The Birmingham News’ online news source, al.com. The article, entitled “UAB’s online tax study heightens use tax debate,” focuses on a UAB study which found that the result of online sales could prove detrimental to Alabama’s economy with the potential for thousands of lost jobs and possibly billions in lost revenue.
