Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Attorney David W. Holt to Speak at American Institute of Chemical Engineers 2013 Spring Meeting

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP attorney David W. Holt will speak at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) 2013 Spring Meeting in San Antonio, Texas on April 29. He will present an introduction to the America Invents Act to open a session on patent law.

AIChE is the world's leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with more than 40,000 members from more than 90 countries. The annual Spring Meeting is the year’s key technical conference for practicing chemical engineers. Attendees come from around the world to hear speakers on a variety of topics.

Holt is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups. He routinely assists clients in the protection and use of their intellectual property rights, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and computer issues. In his litigation practice, Holt has worked on a variety of cases in both federal and state courts on matters involving product liability, commercial disputes, defamation, breach of contract, real estate, and patent infringement. He holds a J.D. (summa cum laude) from The University of Alabama School of Law, and an M.S. and B.S. (summa cum laude) from The University of Alabama.
