Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Attorney J. William Manuel Admitted as Member of American Board of Trial Advocates
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that J. William Manuel, a commercial and employment litigation partner in the firm’s Jackson office, has been admitted as a member of the invitation-only American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
ABOTA’s primary mission is the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial by educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury. Admission to the national association is limited to experienced trial lawyers and judges who have demonstrated high personal character and an honorable reputation. Membership selection criteria includes a minimum number of jury trials to verdict as lead counsel.
“Membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates is a prestigious honor and we congratulate Will on this recognition,” said firm Chairman Beau Grenier. “This speaks to Will’s significant trial experience and dedication as a trusted advocate for his clients.”
Manuel’s practice focuses on commercial, products liability and employment discrimination cases for large and small businesses in courts in Mississippi and across the country. He has represented companies in diverse industries including manufacturing, financial services and retail.
Manuel earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He also has a B.A., magna cum laude, from Mississippi State University.
