New Stab at Defining Patentability; Full Federal Circuit to Revisit Vexing Question

In a February 4, 2013, article, the National Law Journal examined an upcoming February 8 Federal Circuit en banc argument in CLS Bank International v. Alice Corp. The case involves the validity of patents for a computerized method of conducting financial transactions and is the culmination of years of debate over how to interpret Section 101 of the Patent Act.
