Birmingham Partner Alex B. Leath Named to Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives Editorial Board

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Birmingham partner Alex B. Leath has been named to the editorial board of the Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives. Published by Thomson Reuters, the Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives is a leading publication providing tax professionals with essential information and analysis regarding the latest developments in multistate taxation.

Mr. Leath will help coordinate the publication’s coverage of tax incentives and related issues. He will also contribute articles to the journal.

Mr. Leath is a partner in the Economic Development and Tax Practice Groups at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. Since 1990, he has been involved in a significant number of the major economic development projects locating in the Southeast. As a result, Mr. Leath is one of the most trusted economic development attorneys in the region. Leading companies regularly seek him out for counsel on their relocation and site-selection matters, knowing his broad experience will serve them well. Most recently, he was selected to represent the Volkswagen Group of America in the site selection process for its U.S. manufacturing headquarters. Mr. Leath advised Volkswagen regarding site evaluation, incentive negotiations with state and local governments, and related tax issues.

Mr. Leath holds an L.L.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, and a B.A. from Wake Forest University.
