Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Named Among Fastest-Growing U.S. Law Firms
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP was named one of the five fastest-growing U.S. law firms between 2008 and 2012 in a recent American Lawyer Magazine article. The story focused on how the country’s law firms weathered the recession.
“Over the past four years, we have taken a deliberate and strategic approach to growth, which we believed was the right path for our firm,” said Firm Chairman Beau Grenier. “It is gratifying to see the course we chose validated in terms of our performance as compared with other leading law firms.”
Since the merger between Bradley Arant and Boult Cummings in early 2009, the firm has grown from 350 to 430 lawyers, a 23% increase, working across seven offices in the Southeast. The growth has been accomplished both organically and through lateral hires, adding strategically to practices in which the firm foresaw opportunities. In addition to expanding into Nashville as a result of the merger, the firm has significantly grown several of its existing offices, including Charlotte, NC; Washington, D.C.; Huntsville, Ala.; and Jackson, Miss.
