10 Members of BABC’s SALT Practice Group Named to 2014 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America

A record 10 of the firm’s state and local tax (“SALT”) attorneys have been named to the 2014 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, the oldest and one of the most highly regarded referral publications in the legal profession. Considered to be among the top leaders in their respective practice areas, Best Lawyers honorees are selected based on a survey of almost 5 million lawyers who assess the legal abilities of their peers.

The members of the SALT practice group selected for the 2014 edition of The Best Lawyers in America include Robert Walthall, Bruce Ely, Chris Grissom, and Wood Herren from the Birmingham, Alabama, office; Scott Ludwig from the Huntsville, Alabama, office; Steve Wilson from the Jackson, Mississippi, office; Stan Gregory from the Montgomery, Alabama, office; and Brett Carter, Joe Gibbs, and Patricia Head Moskal from the firm’s Nashville, Tennessee, office. Ely is chair and Carter is vice chair of the practice group.
