Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Welcomes 19 First-Year Associates

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that 19 attorneys have joined the firm as first-year associates.

Joining the firm in Birmingham:

Brooke Bates will serve as a member of the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. She holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Alabama Law Review. She also has a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia.

Ashley Burkett joins the Appellate and Litigation practice groups. She served as a clerk for the Honorable Ed Carnes, Chief Judge of the Eleventh Circuit. Ms. Burkett holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Huntingdon College.

Jennifer S. Gisi will serve as a member of the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Tulane University Law School, where she was a managing editor of the Tulane Law Review. She also holds a B.S.B.A., summa cum laude, from Auburn University.

Jessica Kramer Givens joins the Litigation Practice Group. She holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law and a B.S., summa cum laude, from Samford University.

Blair Graffeo joins the Litigation Practice Group. She holds a J.D. from the University of Alabama, where she served as an editor of the Alabama Law Review. Ms. Graffeo earned her B.S., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama.

Holly S. Hosford will serve as a member of the Health Care Practice Group. She holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she was an executive articles editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. Ms. Hosford also has a B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi.

Ambria L. Lankford will serve as a member of the Litigation Practice Group. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Alabama, where she was a senior editor of the Law & Psychology Review. Ms. Lankford also holds a B.S. from the University of Alabama.

Michele Polk Marron, Ph.D. joins the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Prior to law school, Dr. Marron was an assistant professor in pediatrics and medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law and a B.S.B.A. from the University of Florida.

Sarah E. Merkle joins the Litigation Practice Group. She served as a clerk for the Honorable Henry F. Floyd of the Fourth Circuit. Ms. Merkle earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the South Carolina Law Review. She also holds an M.A., magna cum laude, and a B.S., cum laude, both from Bob Jones University, and is a certified professional parliamentarian and professional registered parliamentarian.

Carly Miller will serve as a member of the Construction & Procurement and Litigation practice groups. She holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from Tulane University Law School, where she was an articles editor of the Tulane Law Review. She also studied international and comparative law at ESADE Law School in Barcelona, Spain. Ms. Miller earned her B.A. from Vanderbilt University.

J. Sims Rhyne, III joins the Tax Practice Group. He holds an L.L.M. (Taxation) from New York University School of Law; a J.D. (magna cum laude) from Cumberland School of Law where he was writing editor of the Cumberland Law Review and Chair of the Cordell Hull Speakers Forum; a Master of Accountancy from the University of Florida; and a B.B.A. (magna cum laude) from the University of North Florida.

Joining the firm in Huntsville:

Aaron C. Caradonna joins the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Caradonna represented sports and entertainment clients, including Major League Baseball draft picks. He holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a senior editor of the Journal of Legal Professions. He also has a B.A. from Pepperdine University.

Joining the firm in Jackson:

Anna Sweat will serve as a member of the Litigation Practice Group and Financial Services Litigation and Compliance Team. She holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she served as an associate articles editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. Ms. Sweat also has a B.A., summa cum laude, from Millsaps College.

Talor I. Bearman joins the Litigation Practice Group. He holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as a managing editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law. Mr. Bearman earned his B.S., summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.

Connor M. Blair serves as a member of the Litigation Practice Group. He earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he served as notes editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology. Mr. Blair also has a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jessica Jernigan-Johnson joins the Litigation Practice Group. She holds a J.D., with high honors, from the University of Tennessee College of Law. She also has an M.A. from the University of Exeter and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Emory & Henry College.

Keaton H. Osborne will serve as a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Prior to law school, he worked as an engineer for a U.S. Department of Energy contractor providing environmental remediation services in his hometown of Paducah, Kentucky. Mr. Osborne earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he served as an editor of the Kentucky Law Journal. He holds a B.S. from the University of Kentucky.

Zeterrika C. Tanner joins the Health Care Practice Group. She holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. from Princeton University.

Marc A. Nardone joins the Litigation Practice Group. Prior to joining Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, he clerked for the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia on the Maryland Court of Appeals. Mr. Nardone holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maryland Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Heath Care Law & Policy; and an A.B. from Washington University in St. Louis.
