Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Welcomes Attorney Jeffrey T. Powell

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Jeffrey T. Powell has joined the firm’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Group as an associate in the Birmingham office.

“We welcome Jeff to our firm and look forward to his contributions,” said Firm Chairman Beau Grenier.

Mr. Powell focuses his practice on advising financial institutions on regulatory, compliance, corporate and operational matters. He counsels clients on product development and third-party vendor relationships related to various deposit, payment systems, mortgage, treasury management, wealth management, and online and mobile banking products. In addition, Mr. Powell has represented financial services institutions in various litigation matters, including creditors’ rights and defensive matters related to lender liability and regulatory claims. He also reviews pending state and federal banking legislation and advises clients as to compliance concerns.

Mr. Powell holds a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and a B.S. from Washington & Lee University.
