José D. Vega Named to List of Nation’s Most Influential Minority Attorneys

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that associate José D. Vega has been named to Lawyers of Color’s Second Annual Hot List. The annual list identifies the nation’s most influential early- to mid-career minority attorneys. Honorees will be recognized at a reception for the Southern Region on July 24th at Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta office.

Mr. Vega, who is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Litigation and Compliance Team, focuses his practice on representing financial institutions and mortgage companies in a variety of residential and commercial litigation matters, in both federal and state court. He has defended federal causes of action, alleging violations of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, HOEPA, FCRA, and SCRA, and state causes of action concerning mortgage related fees and services, origination, pooling and servicing agreements, loan repurchase disputes, investor disputes, servicing matters, fraud, and breach of contract.

Mr. Vega holds a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and a B.A. from Birmingham-Southern College.
