Four Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Partners Named to Who’s Who Legal: Construction 2015
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that partners Douglas L. Patin, William R. Purdy, E. Mabry Rogers and Robert J. Symon have been listed in the Who’s Who Legal: Construction 2015 legal referral guide.
Mr. Patin and Mr. Symon are based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. Mr. Purdy works from the firm’s office in Jackson, Miss., and Mr. Rogers works in the firm’s Birmingham, Ala. office.

Mr. Patin has an extensive government contracts practice and represents some of the largest federal contractors and subcontractors in the country. He has developed extensive experience in various aspects of government contract law, including federal fraud and False Claims Act issues, bid protests, mediation, and contract dispute litigation with the federal government. He also teaches and writes on construction case law and developments in the field. Mr. Patin holds a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. Purdy focuses his practice on construction claims and disputes and on federal procurement law. He is the first of only two Mississippi lawyers ever invited to be a Fellow in the select American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL) and is among only a handful of lawyers in the country to be both an ACCL Fellow and a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Purdy earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Mr. Rogers represents a broad range of construction industry clients on complex construction litigation and procurement matters. He also frequently serves as an arbitrator and has mediated (as a party representative) dozens of disputes before mediators in states throughout the nation. Mr. Rogers earned his J.D. (cum laude) from Harvard Law School and has a B.A. (cum laude) from Yale University.
Mr. Symon concentrates in the areas of construction and government contract law. His practice has involved protesting procurement results, interpreting the Federal Acquisition Regulation, prosecuting claims under the Contract Disputes Act and insuring compliance with ethical obligation. He has successfully prosecuted and defended bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He also has litigated disputes throughout the country in state and federal courts involving a wide variety of complex construction claims. Mr. Symon holds a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a B.A. from Washington & Jefferson College.
