Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that partners Ann Peldo Cargile, W. Rodney Clement and J. Thomas Trent, Jr. have been listed in the Who’s Who Legal: Real Estate 2015 legal referral guide.
Ms. Cargile and Mr. Trent are based in the firm’s Nashville, Tenn., office and Mr. Clement works from the firm’s Jackson, Miss., office.

Ms. Cargile represents parties in all aspects of commercial real estate, including leasing, finance and joint ventures. She has a national leasing practice, serving as counsel to landlords and tenants in both lease negotiation and lease enforcement. In addition, she represents lenders in placing financing, and has significant experience assisting borrowers in negotiating favorable loan terms and advising them when projects become distressed. A Fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, Ms. Cargile holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Mr. Clement’s practice is concentrated in commercial real estate and secured transactions. He regularly represents developers of shopping centers, industrial facilities and office complexes, as well as borrowers, lenders and title insurers in secured financings. He also has extensive experience with retail, health care, industrial office leases and commercial properties. Mr. Clement is a member of the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and a former member of the Board of Regents of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. He earned his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law and holds a B.A. from Millsaps College.
Mr. Trent is the Chairman of the firm’s Economic Development Practice Group and has experience in all areas of real estate transactions, including industrial development and economic development incentives; leasing, corporate, joint venture, partnership and limited liability company law; and tax-exempt finance. With more than 35 years of experience in real estate and economic development law, Mr. Trent represents clients regionally and nationally, including major manufacturing companies, corporate users of commercial real estate, institutional investors, developers and lenders. Mr. Trent holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and an A.B. (magna cum laude) from Wabash College.
