Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Partner Jason A. Walters Named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40” for 2015

Walters has been named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2015 “Top 40 Under 40,” recognizing Birmingham’s up-and-coming business leaders. This year's honorees join a distinguished group of past winners who have gone on to become key leaders in the Magic City's business community.

This year’s “Top 40 Under 40” honorees are profiled in a special issue of the Birmingham Business Journal and will be honored at a cocktail reception at Iron City.
Mr. Walters serves as lead counsel for multiple Fortune 500 insurance companies. His practice focuses on life, health, and annuity litigation, as well as litigation involving agents and insurance marketing organizations. In particular, Mr. Walters has extensive experience defending bad faith cases involving the denial of benefits under life, long term care, cancer, and disability insurance policies. He also serves as Social Chair of the Association of Life Insurance Counsel (ALIC) and regularly attends meetings of the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI), frequently speaking at such events.
Mr. Walters holds a J.D. (magna cum laude) from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he also received his M.B.A., was an editor on the Cumberland Law Review, and served as President of his class. He earned a B.S. (magna cum laude) from Jacksonville State University, where he was honored by the faculty of the business school as the Outstanding Management Graduate.
