Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Jenny Harris Henderson, who practiced as a partner in the firm’s Birmingham office, was appointed United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Alabama, Western Division. Ms. Henderson was sworn in on February 16 at the Cumberland School of Law.
“Jenny’s unwavering commitment to justice, her standing among her colleagues, and her legal aptitude make her well-suited for this appointment,” stated Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Board Chairman Beau Grenier. “While she will be greatly missed throughout the firm, we know she will do well and wish her all the best in her new role.”
As a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Distressed Investing Practice Group, Ms. Henderson regularly represented debtors, creditors, and other interested parties in bankruptcy, out-of-court workouts and restructurings, and bankruptcy-related litigation. “Jenny has been an instrumental member of our team for the past six years, and we look forward to seeing her excel in her appointment as judge,” stated Jay Bender, Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Distressed Investing Practice Group. “Jenny is very well respected, both for her accomplishments and for her integrity.
