Tony B. Griffin Quoted in Law360 Regarding Trends in Florida’s FLSA Litigation

Tony B. Griffin was recently quoted in a Law360 article exploring the recent state trends in Fair Labor Standards Act. While Florida’s Southern and Middle Districts are among the busiest jurisdictions in the country for FLSA litigation with a collective 1,753 FLSA complaints in 2014; Florida has actually seen a decline in FLSA filings in the past year.

“You’re always going to have employers who mess up. But a dozen years of mining cases leaves only so many good cases out there,” said Griffin, a labor and employment attorney based in Bradley Arant’s Tampa office. “I think that’s a factor.”
