Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Welcomes Meade Hartfield as Counsel

Bradley Arant is pleased to announce that C. Meade Hartfield has joined the firm as counsel in the Financial Services and Litigation practice groups. She will split her time between the firm’s Birmingham, Alabama, and Jackson, Mississippi, offices.

Ms. Hartfield has represented clients nationwide in a variety of industries, including financial services, drug and medical device, automotive, aviation, industrial equipment, insurance, and environmental. Her financial services practice includes representing financial institutions and mortgage companies in defensive litigation matters throughout the country, including alleged violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and state deceptive trade practices laws. She also spearheads regulatory compliance services in response to pending or new legislation.

Ms. Hartfield earned a B.A. (summa cum laude) in Economics and Spanish, and a B.B.A. (summa cum laude) in General Business through the International Business program at Mississippi State University. She earned her J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Mississippi. She is an active member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), where she serves on the DRI Publications Board, the Drug & Medical Device Committee, and as Annual Meeting Chair of Women in Law. She has been named as both an Alabama Super Lawyers and Mid-South Super Lawyers “Rising Star” and was also included on B-Metro’s list of “Top Women Lawyers” for 2015.
