Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Welcomes Three New Associates

Bradley Arant is pleased to announce that Brooke L. BairdJeffrey W. Sheehan and Jillian A. Sparks have joined the firm’s Nashville office as associates.

Ms. Baird has joined the Real Estate Practice Group, where she provides counsel in commercial leasing, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and real estate finance. She represents national, regional, and local banks, insurance companies, real estate developers, and corporate clients. Previously, she was with Morgan, Akins & Clark, PLLC. Ms. Baird earned her B.S. (summa cum laude) from Lipscomb University. She then earned her J.D. ( cum laude) from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she served as managing editor of the Tennessee Law Review and was named to the Order of Barristers. She is a member of the American, Tennessee and Nashville bar associations, and also belongs to the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Mr. Sheehan has joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. His focus on appellate issues allows him to collaborate with attorneys across the litigation team to help protect clients’ interests before and during the appeals process. Mr. Sheehan joined the firm following a clerkship with the Honorable Gilbert S. Merritt on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He earned his B.Mus. (magna cum laude), M.A., Ph.D., and J.D. from Vanderbilt University. While in law school, he served as editor-in-chief of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law and was second chair for two oral arguments in the Sixth Circuit through the Vanderbilt Appellate Litigation Clinic. He is a member of the American, Tennessee, and Nashville bar associations.

Ms. Sparks has joined the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group. Before joining Bradley Arant, she completed a clerkship with the Honorable Sharon L. Blackburn on the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama. Ms. Sparks earned both her B.A. (summa cum laude) and her J.D. (summa cum laude ) from the University of Alabama, where she served as an executive editor of the Alabama Law Review and co-chair of the Campbell Moot Court Board.
