Bradley Arant Welcomes Michael Cowan
Bradley Arant is pleased to announce that Michael L. Cowan, Jr. has joined the firm’s Jackson office as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group.
Mr. Cowan joined Bradley Arant following a clerkship with Chief Justice William L. Waller, Jr. of the Mississippi Supreme Court. He earned his B.S. from Tennessee Tech University and his J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Mississippi Law Journal and participated in the school’s tax clinic. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, and the Jackson Young Lawyer Association.
Before attending law school, Mr. Cowan worked as a learning and development specialist for Deloitte Services, LP, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as a civil affairs officer and continues to serve as a member of the Individual Ready Reserve.
