Elizabeth Ferrell Quoted in Law360 Regarding Aerospace & Defense Cases To Watch In 2016

Partner Elizabeth (Beth) Ferrell was quoted in Law360 Aerospace & Defense in regards to Triple Canopy Inc. v. U.S. ex rel. Omar Badr. The Supreme Court has another opportunity to shutter openings to FCA liability in an appeal from the 4th Circuit, which held Triple Canopy Inc. liable under the act for billing the government for unqualified guards hired at a U.S. base in Iraq.

"By taking up the case, the court could provide 'much needed guidance' on the question of implied certification theory given the high court’s silence on the matter," said Ferrell.
